MacGruber

So I don't really watch SNL anymore. In fact I don't have cable so I don't watch tv at all unless I can find something fun on hulu.com. But Terry found this skit from Saturday Night Live on hulu and it is one of the funniest things ever. If you've ever seen MacGyver, it's a play on that show. Enjoy . . .

PS - I don't personally condone all of the MacGruber skits, mostly just the one I linked. ; )

Many New Posts

I am so terrible at keeping up with the blog, but since December was such a busy month, there are many new posts for your viewing pleasure. ; )

Tato learned to walk, we had a baby, my mom was in town, Christmas festivities and so on. Hope everyone's Holiday Season was busy and enjoyable!

Christmas Morning

So clearly in this picture Santa hasn't come yet. I just forgot to get a picture of the tree with all the presents under it. But here it is right after we decorated it. Christmas morning was great! My Mom was in town helping me with the baby so she was there, and my brother and his friend came also. Even Terry's parents came over! It was so much fun to have so many people there. Sometimes I wish I had a bigger place because I love to have guests!

Here she is in her Christmas jammies that Santa gave her.
Tato is pretty funny about gifts. She thinks toys are ok but when she opens clothes . . . well you can't really see the look on her face in this picture but I'm telling you, she loves opening clothes. She also likes to strut around the house with a long sleeve shirt draped around her neck like an early 90's preppy. Man it cracks me up.
She also got a dolly, a train, some blocks, a cell phone (we just had to get her a toy cell phone because she always wants to play with ours), books, lots of clothes and shoes. She walks around the house all day on that dang cell phone. I guess it's just preparing me for when she's a teenager. ; )

Walking, Yes Indeed I'm Walking

In case anyone still had doubts Tato was ever going to learn to walk, here she is in all her walking glory. This is at the Christmas Eve party, and you can tell she really wants to play with the big kids. I know I'm biased, but I swear she is the funniest girl ever.

Christmas Eve

So we went to the annual Lindstrom Christmas Eve Party and it was a lot of fun. Tato seems to love parties. She was acting wild and crazy the whole night. The girls got to sit on santa's lap. I was worried Tato would cry but once she got the present and the candy cane from him she was nothing but grins. Presents and food: her two favorites. We ate and chatted and it was a lot of fun to catch up with all of Terry's cousins.
Olie with Santa.
Tato with Santa.

The traditional gift of jammies that Santa gives all the kids.
Mmmmmm, it was only Tato's second taste of candy ever, but she ate the whole candy cane (it was a kids sized one). Sheesh I can't even eat a whole candy cane.

Rolie Polie Olie!

Olie is here! She was born one day early. Funnily enough I was scheduled to be induced that day because I had gestational diabetes and the doctor didn't want me to have another ten pound baby. I was kind of dreading being induced as I would prefer to let things happen on their own, so I was pleasantly surprised when at 5 am I started having insanely painful contractions and couldn't go back to sleep. I woke Terry up and told him that I thought we needed to go to the hospital. We timed the contractions for about 20 minutes and I was certain we should go (I think he was a little nervous to go because we got sent home twice with Tato). We got there at around 6ish and they said I was already a 5. Yipee! I was so excited. Skipping all the gory details, Olie was born at 9:55. I was so extatic that it only took 5 hours! Best birth ever!

Anyways, she is a little cutie. She weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces and she has the cutest black/brown hair and eyes.
