Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We were lucky enough to get two Thanksgivings this year; one on Thursday at Nate and Jill's house, and one on Friday at Terry's parent's house. Jill and her kids made this awesome turkey cake. I though it was so cute and creative I just had to take a picture. This was Tato's first Thanksgiving and she was so good the whole day. I think by the second Thanksgiving she was so tuckered out from all the commotion of two days of family fun that she decided to be grumpy and scream all Friday night.

That's ok though, who could stay mad at this face. Not I.

We had alot of fun and were so excited that we got to see all the nieces and nephews on on Terry's side. Here they are attacking Grandma.

Thanks to everyone who prepared all the wonderful food and allowed us to enjoy the holiday with them. We had alot of fun!

Three Months Old

Our little Tato is three months old. She is getting so big! She enjoys spitting, wiggling, sucking on her hands, and chewing on her toy bunny. At least she is getting her vitamins . . .

"I am certain there is too much certainty in the world."

This week my favorite author, Michael Crichton, died of cancer at the young age of 66. Very few of you know me well enough to know what this guy meant to me. I know most people just know him as the author of Jurassic Park, but he wrote so many other wonderful books and most people don't know anything about the many essays he wrote and speeches he gave. If/when they get his website up and running again, I urge you all to read some of the speeches he wrote. They are very insightful and full of interesting truths. Or, if that isn't your type of reading material, check out one of his many books at the library. They are fast paced, fun, and also full of interesting truths. Anyways, I just found out about this today so I thought I should say something on here because it is really affecting me.

Happy Halloween!

Well another Halloween has come and gone. We continued our tradition again this year and carved pumpkins a few days before Halloween. Mine is the one that says creepy, however I was sick of carving after I finished the word creepy and Terry was already done with his so he did the bats for me. What a sweet husband I have. Hope everyone had a fun holiday!
